The Second Coming (Private, Reika)

After Archer had left Reika he went to his sacred Training grounds and sat meditating on everything she said, well her mother was not fully out of line, if they were of Quincy decent then that was their right to know, Archer realized that he was out of line, and he let out a soft sigh, he decided to grab one of the special braclets and slides it into his pocket, he would take the next day to think on what she said, specially about what she said about that fullbring business, he would have to ask her about that.

It took him the rest of that day and the next day to fully think everything over and how to handle the situation, as well as to find out what spirit thread was hers, it was a greenish color, that was strange, well he will find everything out eventually, he would follow her spirit ribbon till he found her, at which point he would clear his throat to get her attention as he arrived behind her, and if she turned to look he would do the typical head tilting up from a staring at the ground position as he mouthed to her ' I'm sorry' and then he would extend to her a hand for him to lead her to the place he wanted to take her.

Reika had gone home after her encounter with the Quincy known as Archer. She mulled everything over in her mind as she laid on her bed with her face in her pillow. She hoped in the shower to clear her mind. It had already about two days since she met him, and whenever his face crossed her mind, she began to blush, though she would quickly shake it away. If Archer planned to contact her, it would be best for her to leave the house and go out into town. She didn't know why she thought that but either way, she got dressed and left the house. Now, out and about around town, Rei figured she should grab a bite to eat, seeing as she hadn't eaten before leaving the house.

She went to a convenience store and picked up pork bun and a melon soda to eat. After she payed, she exited the store and continued on her way. She sat own on a nearby bus bench, took the pork bun out of the plastic wrapping and opened her can of melon soda. She took a bite of the steaming hot pork bun and a sip of her drink. While enjoying her breakfast, Rei suddenly heard a familiar voice apologizing to her, she turned her head to see Archer standing behind her. Before Rei could respond, he extended a hand to her to lead Rei to where he wanted to take her. Without hesitation, she took his hand. "Well lead the way." She said with a slight smile on her face.

Archer smiled as he lead her to the Training grounds in the mountains, and once arriving at the gates he would release her hand, he had pulled her onto his back and used his high speed technique to get there a lot quicker, and when he set her down he looked at her and said "Im sorry about the other day, it is your right to know about the Quincy's as that is apart of your heritage, so tell me, what all did you learn about us?" Archer raised an eye brow at her as he twirled his cross around his wrist

Rei was lead away from town by Archer to a place with big gates. Once they arrived, he let go of her hand and pulled her onto his back before he ran incredibly fast. Rei didn't quite understand it but for some reason, she felt comfortable on his back. When he let her down, they seemed to be at some kind of training grounds. Archer looked at Rei and smiled. He apologized for yesterday telling her she had a right to know about the quincys due to it being apart of her heritage. Rei simply nodded in response. He then asked her what all she knew about Quincy's. "Well, to be completely honest, I don't know all that much. All I really know is that quincys are race of people who fight and kill hollows. That and the fact my grandpa was one when he was still alive. That's all I really know." In Rei's eyes showed she was telling the truth. She had been told stories about her grandfather as a child though her memories of the past before her first year of high school were mostly a blur to her.

At this point after Archer Listened to her he pointed out her flaw in her logic "How were you able to deduce I was a Quincy then on just that knowledge, I am certain there is more, At least tell me you know the hierarchy of the Quincy Order" he wanted to tell her the truth of who he was, but for the impact to hit he needed to make sure she understood the Hierarchy.

Archer let out a deep breath and he pulled out the bracelet and started to play with it as he spun it around, this was the gift he was going to give to her as an apology for the mistake he made the other day, but he wanted her to know what it could do first, and thus she needed to know everything she could possibly know about Quincy's.

Archer listened to her tell him what she knew. After that, he pointed out the flaw in her logic. She realized it didn't really make sense for her to know Archer was a Quincy. She looked down at her feet, trying to search for an answer. In truth, she just had a feeling he might be one, so Rei went out on a limb and called him that. She didn't honestly think she would be right. She looked back up at Archer, cleared her throat and spoke. "Well...I honestly don't know how I knew you were a Quincy Archer... it was just a feeling I had. I didn't know if was right or not. I never even met my grandpa when he was alive. Even if I did, I doubt I would remember it." She paused for a moment before continuing. "I know what I'm saying probably makes no sense to you, I don't even know if it makes sense to me, but this is really all I know. Oh, and as for hierarchy within the Quincy's, I have absolutely no knowledge of it, I'm sorry."

Archer let out a sigh and looked at her "I don't blame you for not knowing, that blame is on your grandfather, anyways Long ago back when the order of Priestess's began, a man known as the Soul King, Ruler of all Spiritual, fell in love with the Head priestess... or so she thought, but eventually over time, she came to find he was bedding other Priestess's as well, and come to find out, the Soul King just loved the ideal they stood for, so they left their connections to him behind and took their children to this place, Earth, and here they lived fine, found better men who loved them for who they were individually, and over time, the children being prepared to follow their mother's footsteps showed remarkable powers, this was due to being the Soul King's Children, but as he did nothing more for them, those children grew with a hatred for their father, the High Priestess's Name was Ichbin Kora..." Archer took a deep breath as he paused and decided to save the rest of the tale for later and spoke again "Long Story Short for now, the Ichbin's are the Royalty of Quincy's... My Name is Ichbin Schnell Tod... I am the King of the Quincy's" Archer looked up to her eyes to see her response to the unveiling of his lie, he knew no one was around to hear him so he had no worries about anyone over hearing, at this point he just waited and watched for a reaction, he needed to see how she would react before he continued.

Rei listened as Archer told the story of the Quincy's. She couldn't believe what she heard. When he finished, he took a deep breath and paused before speaking up again. The next thing that came from his mouth was almost to unreal to believe. It turned out, Archer was actually not Archer, he gave his name as Ichbin Schnell Tod, and said he was the king of the Quincy's. Rei had no words for this as she tried to comprehend what she was just told. She didn't know how to respond to his story and the fact that he was actually King of the Quincy's. "I don't know what to say.... This is the most crazy thing someone has ever told me. I can't believe that you're actually the king of the Quincy's Archer...."

Archer would reach out to take her hand and slide the bracelet on, meanwhile saying these words "If I were not a King of the Quincy's How else would you be able to get a bracelet like this and I promise you with the symbol on it, no one , of the Quincy Race, should mess with you, let alone inquire who gave it to you or try to give you some speech about how you should not have it, as the Leader of the Quincy has the Sole right to give these out... This is a bracelet that allows you to have the same abilities as a Quincy" Archer would form a Standard bow with the arm that was away from her to give her an example "if you want I could help you to learn these abilities" Archer gave her a soft smile as he allowed the bow to disapaite

Archer took Rei by the hand and slipped a bracelet onto her wrist. Rei blushed when their hands touched. "If I were not a King of the Quincy's How else would you be able to get a bracelet like this and I promise you with the symbol on it, no one , of the Quincy Race, should mess with you, let alone inquire who gave it to you or try to give you some speech about how you should not have it, as the Leader of the Quincy has the Sole right to give these out... For some reason, Reika felt like she was special and it made her happy. She looked up and watched as Archer formed a standard bow to give her an example. With a soft smile, he offered to help Rei learn the abilities. Grabbing onto her new bracelet and smiling sweetly, she nodded her head. "Yes, I would like that Archer!" Rei continued to clutch the bracelet that was on her wrist while smiling brightly at him.

Archer smiled and nodded as he spoke to her "Alright but first, what was this talk earlier about 'Fullbring?' whatever that is" Archer forgot his hand was still on hers as he talked and he really paid it no mind at the moment, he was to deep into the conversation with her at the moment to even care, or maybe he did and that's why it stayed, don't be Ridiculous archer you just enjoy her company cause she is a nice girl, nothing else... at least that's what he told himself while he waited for her explination on this subject.

Archer smiled at Rei then asked her about what fullbring was. Rei also noticed that Archer still had his hand on her, causing her to blush once again but for some reason, she didn't mind it, so she decided to keep her mouth shut and not mention it. She looked up at Archer and spoke. "Well...its kinda hard to explain... i have this strange power that I suddenly gained when I was in ninth grade, I've named it fullbring because it seems to bring out the full potential of my hidden strengths. Like my speed, strength and reflexes. You see... I've taken martial arts since I was in middle school. I have studied to Jujitsu, Muay Thai and Tegumi. I combine those three when I fight, making my style a mixed martial arts of sorts. And in a fight, my speed, reflexes and strength multiply. I'm sorry I can't explain it all that well. Oh! I almost forgot, I'm able to shoot reiatsu from my palms and feet when fighting. I code-named my fullbring, traveling spear. Pretty cool right?"

Archer listened to her, and at first she just sounded like a skilled martial artist, then she talked about shooting reiatsu from her palms and feet, that sounded more like the stuff he was looking to hear and he nodded "So you know how to control Reiatsu, excellent, now that bracelet I gave you, it absorbs the Reiatsu around you like a Quincy normally does and will allow you access to things like our bows and other techniques that I will teach you at a later date" Archer let out a soft smile as his fingers closed around her hand and he stood up and pulled on her arm to encourage her up, meanwhile he turned around and bent down, pulling her onto his back, he had another place to show her while the day was still good enough to enjoy it.

Once more moving at much higher speeds then humans could move on foot, he arrived in short order to a place nearby with a waterfall in the middle of the forest, it was one of the most tranquil scenes in the world in his opinion. "I often like to come here, and as no Human is allowed past those gates we went through, no one other then me had seen this for years, till now" Archer looked up over his shoulder at her as he lowered her down to allow her to explore for awhile, he wanted to share so much with her, he could just tell her everything, but this was strange for him, usually he is such a recluse, what is coming over him?

He seemed pleased when Rei talked about controlling reiatsu. He explained that the bracelet he gave her absorbs reiatsu like Quincy's do and that he would teach her about all that at a later date. Rei just nodded in response. Archer smiled softly at her before closing his fingers on her hand. He turned and knelt down and put her on his back. Rei for some reason felt embarrassed but at the same time felt comfortable. Archer ran at a high speed and took Rei to a beautiful and tranquil waterfall. The grass below them was lush and green, the ever flowing waterfall showed a beautiful rainbow at the bottom above the pool of water beneath it. Rei was awe struck by its beauty and tranquility. Archer said that he had been the only one to visit this place till now. Rei was lowered down off his back and took a look at the scene before her. It was so pretty and made her feel calm. She looked up at Archer who was smiling at her, and without knowing, she had started to blush again. His grey eyes seemed to draw her in, before she realized, Rei was now staring at Archer almost longingly.

Archer would abruptly take off running and at the last second throwing his Overcoat off to the ground, his muscles in his arms now showing, and his white glove still on is left hand, he leaped off the end of the small drop and dived right into the water, he would make his body form the shape of a banana, his left hand was under the right hand and his left foot under his right foot, both was straight before he hit the water, it was a good two story's high if you had to compare it to a building, and when he Surfaced, his hair clung to his head now and he waved up at her to jump down if she didn't already, and he smiled at her as he waited if he had to wait, waving his arms back and forth and kicking his legs back and forth to help stay a float.

Rei was still in a trance like state, staring at Archer whe all of a sudden, he took off running, taking off his overcoat and tossing it on the ground before jumping into the water below. Rei immediately snapped out of it and looked over the cliff to see Archer down below, wading in the water. Rei took off her blazer jacket, tossing it next to Archer's overcoat and took off running like he did and jumped off the cliff and into the water right near him, making a splash as she landed. She emerged from the water a couple seconds later, her silvery grey hair now wet which seemed to make her look even more beautiful than before. She smiled sweetly at Archer and laughed. "This is so much fun Archer!"

Archer smiled as she jumped and looked away and shielding himself or trying to with his hands as she landed into the water trying to block as much as he could of her splash, and when she came up he couldn't help but to laugh, and then he swam closer to her and stared into her eyes a moment before he ducked down into the water , and Swam up a bit till he was behind the waterfall before surfacing, and he would look out of the waterfall out to the world beyond it, and if Reika didn't follow him, out to her too, and for the first time he realized he was blushing while staring at her, he never felt this heat in his face before other then training, and he knew he did not do anything streanous enough for that to happen.

Archer would have to looking into this at a later time, maybe he was coming down with something, it was hard to tell in the water, all he knew was he did not want this moment to end, sadly it happened before he knew it, thunder rolled in the distance then it had started to rain.

Archer seemed to ignore what she had said and ducked under the water. He popped back up from behind the waterfall and so, Reika followed him. Once she reached him, she punched him in the arm. "jeez! I can't believe you just ignored me and swam off like that. Hmph!" She said somewhat annoyed before puffing her cheeks out to pout like a child. She then heard the roll of thunder which was followed by rain. Even though Rei didn't want this day to end, she knew it had to with the rain now here. The look she had was one of disappointment. She didn't want to go home for some reason, maybe it was because she was having a nice time with him. Regardless, she didn't want to trouble Archer. "Hey Archer, I think you should take me home, it wouldn't be good if either of us caught a cold out in this rain, not to mention our clothes are already soaked from swimming in here."

Archer would see her pop up out of the water, and then he got the punch and she explained and all he could do was chuckle a little and said "I am Sorry Rei, I heard your statement, I just did not know it required an Answer" then with the rain she mentioned going home and his heart felt like it dropped, but she had a point, so he would once more pick her up, this time in his arms, and began to hop out of the water first, then from rock to rock as he worked his way up, and once back on top of the cliff he stopped so that they could get their jackets, setting her down only for that moment and then he picker her up on his back and once again went zooming, taking a short cut down into town and then he slowed down to a more proper pace when they had the buildings awnings and such offering cover from the rain and set her down then he asked her "So where do you live, that way I can make sure you make it home safely" and with that Archer would wait on her.

They had made it back into town and found a building with an awning that offered shelter from the rain. He set Rei down and asked her where she lived. He said he wanted to make sure she made it home safely. She looked around at they were at and found herself at a loss. She didn't really recognize the area plus with the rain obscuring things, made it all the more difficult. "Don't laugh but....I don't know how to get home from here..." she hung her head, trying to hide her embarrassment. She felt like a little kid who didn't know the way home. Rei suddenly sneezed like a little kitten and began shaking. She was extremely cold in her wet clothes. She tried rubbing her arms to warm herself up but it was no good.

Archer would use a little technique of using Reiashi to heat his body temperature and then he did something most likely unexpected to Reika, he pulled her close to him, took off his coat and put it over her shoulders, and just held her and rubs her arms and back, his higher then normal body temperature offering a heating comfort to her, and he just stood there trying to warm her back up, his eyes up towards the sky as thoughts ran through his head, and all had something to do with Reika getting better

While Reika was still standing there shivering, suddenly, she felt something warm hug her. It was Archer, he had wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in close. Causing her to blush intensely. Never had a guy hugged her like this before. Without even hesitating, she wrapped her arms around him and clung to Archer while resting her face into his chest. She felt the icy cold chill that had covered her body, start to slowly melt away but she didn't want to let go of him yet, she wanted to stay this way a bit longer but she didn't understand why.

Now Archer would brush her hair with his hand to help dry her hair as he continued to hold her close, and after her hair was dried his hands moved to her cheeks, and then suddenly cupped her chin with his palms and leaned in, he did not know what he was doing, he was just doing, this weird fuzziness inside, and strange moments of heat, the looks she gives him and he unknowingly exchanged back with her was all taking over, and he would close his eyes as he pulled her face closer, and he would kiss her cheeks and then her forehead, this was something his mother used to do when he got sick before she passed but he would not tell Reika that just yet, this moment was going to be spent making sure Reika was ok, not for Archer to dwell on the past.

As Rei stood there, in Archer's arms, she felt his hand brush through her wet hair. It was a nice feeling. Before she knew it, Archer had cupped her chin with his palms, leaned in and kissed her cheeks and forehead. It was a sweet moment. Something came over Rei, she let go of his back and when he went to kiss her other cheek, she would move her face to where his lips would meet her's. She then got up on her tip toes and would wrap her arms around his neck. However, it would not last more than a few seconds before Rei realized what she had done and let go of Archer. "I'm so sorry Archer, I don't know what came over me!" She said in a very regretful voice.

Archer was caught off guard, that didn't feel like her cheek so he opened his eyes and saw her kissing him, and her arms wrapped around his neck, his eyes went big, but he just wrapped his arms around her waist and held her close, he did not know what he was doing either, but he liked it, his heart felt like it was beating out of his Chest, he no longer needed the reiashi technique to warm up, and then she broke away and it was like the world crumbling around him, and he just bit his lip, slightly enough to not be seen without a closer inspection on his mouth, did she just do that because he was warming her up? He did not know anymore what to think.

He pointed to a street right in sight and he said "Follow this street and you will run into the ice cream shop we met at, You should be able to find your way home from there, I have to go" after that Archer took off for the building that rested within the training grounds, he needed space away from her right now to think things clearly.
