If Your a Bird I'm a bird

The sun shone through the window and woke Rei up. Her eyes slowly fluttered open and the first thing she saw, was that she was still in Archer's arms. This caused her to blush, only this time, she was smiling watching his sleeping face. She remembered how last night, Archer had brought her here and they confessed how they felt about each other. After that, they fell asleep in each other's arms. Rei gave a light peck on Archer's cheek, hoping not to wake him. She then slipped out of his grip and went looking for the kitchen. After exploring the place, she managed to find it. She saw the phone and thought to call her mom but then remembered her mom was out of town for a college class reunion trip. Rei opened the refrigerator door, and out the eggs, milk, and bread. She looked for the cinnamon and once she found it, she got to work making breakfast. Cooking in his kitchen after spending the night at his place, made Rei feel like she was a young wife cooking for her husband, thinking that made her entire face grow red as a beet. She made about a dozen pieces of french toast, put them on a big plate then carried them back out to the living room. She set the plate down on the coffee table by the couch and went to wake Archer so they could eat together.

Archer had stayed asleep, and rolled over after she got off the couch, and he mumbled something, then acted like he was eating air, cuddling with the couch pillow, while she cooked, but when she came to wake him up thankfully she was standing closer to his head, cause when she woke him up he jumped startled at someone waking him and then he hit the floor between the table and the couch, after he jumped up from hitting the floor and realized what happened last night and he blushed "That was not a Dream?" he asked her, his face red as his overcoat usually is, he had thought it to be just a dream that he could not make sense of but sure enough there she was, and then he smelled something good and looked down, there was a lot of French toast and he smiled "Thanks Reika, I appreciate it"

When Rei woke up Archer, he ended up falling off the couch and landed on the floor between the couch and the coffee table. He jumped up shortly after asking about last night being a dream, Reika shook her head. He looked down to see the French toast she had made for them and thanked her with a smile. However, when Archer called her "Reika" she couldn't help but blush. She sat down on the couch after picking up a piece of toast from the plate and took a bite. She noticed Archer was still standing, so she waited for him to sit next to her before taking another bite of the French toast. When he would sit down next to her, she would continue to eat and every so often, Rei would look over at Archer and smile at him. She felt so happy in that moment. She thought nothing could ruin it.

Archer would sit down next to her Reika and he would pick up a piece of the French toast, and he would take a bite of it, all that could be heard at the moment was 'Mmm' and munching on toast from the two, once in awhile Archer would look over to notice Reika looking and he smiled back at her as she smiled at him, Archer did not want this to end, he wanted this forever... where did that thought come from, the distraught in his mind was hidden by the pure joy on his face, his thoughts were, shes a human, actually shes a fullbringer, shes not a quincy, technically she is, it was like an argument back and forth, but he continued to munch slowly on the toast he had picked up

After Rei finished eating a couple more pieces of toast, she would snuggle up to Archer, putting her head on his shoulder and hug his arm. "I'm so happy Archer, being with you like this...is like a dream, one I don't want to wake up from." She would climb up and kiss him on the cheek. Rei then held up her hand with the bracelet Archer had given her the day before. "Oh and thank you for this, I'll make sure to take good care of it." She said smiling sweetly at him.

Archer Smiled as he looked down at her as he finished his third piece of toast, her leaning on his shoulder, his arm would just wrap around her waist and held her close, and let out a soft sigh, but then a thought came to him, he had a weakness now where before he did not, and this one was very Vunerable, he would give it some thought before he would look at her as she talked about it being a dream, and then kissed his cheek and talked about the bracelet.

That was it, she would start her training today, he smiled at her first of course telling her " I feel the same way Reika, and your welcome, and as a matter of fact, your going to start to learn to use it today" And with that Archer would stand up and walked over to the back door, as this was a very traditional Japanese house, if one did not know where the doors was, it would blend in, but Archer knew.

And he would Slide the door open to show the Quincy training grounds that was in the back, it was not much, but it was enough to make sure you did not get rusty, and he would step outside, in only his black outfit, and his white glove, he would then turn around after he got so far out and waved to her if she was not following already, and he would being "First thing, is learning to create the bow, with this what you have to do is, just focus the Reiashi your bracelet gathers into the shape of a bow, it might take you sometime but you will eventually get the hang of it and it will become second nature" Archer would give a demonstration of this by creating, dispearsing and recreating his bow a couple of times "It is just that simple, now you try" And Archer would watch and wait to see how well she did

Rei was happy when Archer said he felt the same way. After she mentioned the bracelet, Archer said he would begin training her today on how to use. As Archer got up from the couch, Rei followed him. They went al the way towards the back of the house and outside, where a sort of training grounds were spread out before them. Rei followed Archer outside up to where he stopped and tuned around to face her. He told her that she first needed to learn to create a bow and Rei would listen giving Archer her full attention. After he explained how to do it and showed her an example of creating a bow, he told her to try. "Okay! Here I go!" Rei faced out towards where the training grounds ended. She raised her hand with the bracelet to where it was straight out in front of her. Rei closed her eyes and focused on gathering reishi into her bracelet. When she felt there was a good amount stored up, she opened her eyes, raising her other hand making it parallel with her hand that had the bracelet. She was surprised how much reishi she had gathered in her hand. She used her other hand to make contact with the reishi and began to pull it back like she would a bow. However, the minute she did so, the half formed reishi bow dispersed. Rei was a bit shocked that it dispersed before she could even form the entire thing. However, she wasn't about to give up. She gathered more reishi into her hand, this time, much more than the previous time. Using her other hand, she began to pull the reishi back, only this time she was able to form a bow. When she did it successfully, her face lit up. "Look Archer, I did it!!" she said while smiling up at Archer that was right next to her.

Archer Stood there and watched her at her first attempted, he wanted to jump in with more guiding words there, but stayed quiet knowing she needed to figure out her own way to do it, and sure enough shortly afterwards she made her first proper bow, Archer would smile and he nodded as she was looking up at him and he was looking down at her, returning the smile and said "Good Job Reika, Im proud of you, now disperse and Reform the bow over and over till you cant do it any more" Archer would nod After he spoke letting her know it was her cue to get started, He was going to help her and push her to mastery as many of the Quincy powers as possible as fast as possible, so hopefully his mind could be more at ease when she was alone.

Archer returned her smile, telling her she did a job. He then told her to disperse the bow and reform it until she couldn't do it anymore. He would then nod to give her the cue to start. Rei dispersed the reishi bow and went to make a new one, this one was a bit bigger than the last one. She would quickly disperse the bow before creating another one. She repeated this process almost two hundred times before she finally collapsed from exhaustion. The very last bow dispersed before she fell to her knees, panting like a dog, she looked up at Archer smiling despite being warn out. "I think I need a break, hehe."
