»Personality: Jenova is a calm and collected character that perhaps has more to her than she is willing to let others believe. Jenova often times puts on act of being extremely friendly and caring towards everyone in the Gotei 13. Although, behind her kindness towards everyone she has more selfish thoughts. She is normally annoyed with a majority of people in the Soul Society. She is extremely manipulative and see's others as pawns for her goals. She doesn't see herself in the Soul Society forever and instead wishes to find a way to rule the world of the living. She knows that it will be quite sometime until she is able to do so and continues to put on her act as the calm and caring medic of the fourth division.

»Likes: Reading/Studying: Jenova thinks that learning is extremely important and is also quite intelligent. She spends a lot of her free time reading or learning new things.

The World of the Living: Jenova finds the world of the living to be an interesting places and actually really enjoys the realm. Although, she thinks that it has much more potential if under the rule of the likes of the Shinigami.

Insects: Jenova has a type of infinity towards insects in a sense, often times having them as pets or appreciating them in the wild. Insect themes have appeared in style of combat as well.

»Dislikes: The Living: Jenova strongly believes that the living are just tools for the higher species such as shinigami to use. Although she enjoys the world of the living, she dreads the living.

Obnoxious People: Jenova is easily annoyed although she always keeps it to herself. She finds that loudness and dumb comments are annoying.

The Weak: Jenova is annoyed with those that don't push their selves to be strong or those who have no natural talent to succeed. This being how she also feels towards the living.

»Appearance Description: Jenova is a frail and pale girl, although her apperance doesn't necessarily represent her strength. She appears to be weak, although has great strength. Many people comment that she has snow white skin and ice blue eyes. Her dark hair contrasts against her pale features. She has should blade length black hair that is cut cleanly and is straight. She cuts her bangs straigh across above her eyes, giving her a almost doll like appearance.

»Historical Information:

Childhood: As a younger shinigami, Jenova was naturally very aware of her spiritual energy and the energy of others. Because of this, the soul society looked for her and tested her mildly. After being tested, Jenova blew away the soul society for having such a good grasp of spiritual energy at a young age, because of this she was recruited into the Soul Academy that training the canidates to become members of the Gotei 13. Jenova was some what excited, she enjoyed learning quite a bit before hand and felt that she was more talented than most. This being why she joined the academy. She hoped to further her power and become a skilled shinigami.

Soul Academy: When entering the Soul Academy, Jenova made friends with a few of the other students. Over time, each of them grew a bond with one another. Jenova quickly became known as a perfect student in a sense, she excelled at nearly everything. Having a solid understanding of the various forms of combat and skills. Not only did she do well in everything, but she also took a strong interest in healing kido. She become quite adept at it while also using her blade skillfully. Jenova and her friends were all set to graduate around the same time at the academy, after one mission. There was a final mission given to Jenova and her friends in order to graduate the academy and join the soul society. This mission was to eliminate a high level hollow as a team. Jenova and her five friends sent out to do the mission, they were not too worried about it. When arriving at the location of the high level hollow, the group handled the hollow without ease. It was until they were about to head home that things went south. The group detected a low level hollow in the area and decided to deal with it. When arriving at the location of the hollow, they saw a human interacting with the weak hollow. The hollow quickly swallowed the human whole though when the soul reapers arrived. This is when Jenova had the thought that perhaps humans are just food for the hollows. Their lives just rest on the hands of the soul society, she began to become annoyed with how they were to weak to defend their selves. Her allies quickly annihilated the hollow and went back to the academy. Each of them were graduated from the academy and were awaiting orders about which division they would be placed into.

Humans?: During the time between being placed in a division and graduting the academy, Jenova wanted to study humans more. She found it hard to believe that they were simply just hollow food. After traveling to the world of the living a few times though, she began to form a stronger opinion of how useless they are. She began feeling that perhaps humans are just meant to stepping stools for other races, such as her own. Because of this, she became annoyed with both the soul society and humans. The Soul Society because they could have taken the human world long ago and the humans simply because of how useless they were in her eyes. Shortly after making this opinion, Jenova decided to start thinking of ways on how she could take the human world. Although, she wouldn't act on this ideas for quite some time.

Welcome to the 4th Division: After waiting a bit, Jenova was decided to be placed in the fourth division. Although, the soul society had a hard time deciding where to place her. Jenova was skilled at both offensive and defensive battle styles, this cause quite some trouble in picking her division. Finally, they agree'd to place her in the 4th division simply because of her adept skills in healing. Although, Jenova was quite happy about her placement. She could sit back and wait for her chance to make her own moves. Which still wouldn't be for quite sometime. She began taking trips to the human world quite often with others though, almost every chance that a squad would be sent to the human world, she would volunteer as their medic. She quickly gained a name for herself in the 4th division and the captain of the division made her the second seat of the squad. Here she tapped into the power of her Shikai and was well known for it too. Many people in the 4th division looked up to her. Many other squads knew that if she went on missions with them as well, they would not have to protect her too much due to her own strength in offensive combat as well.

There's a Traitor Among Us: While being second seat, Jenova formed a close bond with the current captain of the fourth divison. She was attempting to climb her way to the top by knowing other high rankings. She saw her captain as a way to her learn information about the soul society and other affairs that she wouldn't get in any other situations. A bit after gaining the trust of the captain, Jenova decided that perhaps the best way to hide any possibility of her not agreeing with the soul society would be to display her 'loyalty' to the soul society. This is when Jenova formulated the plan to become a captain of the 4th division but also display that she cared about the soul society over anything else, although she didn't really feel that way. She just wanted the society to think that.
Jenova arranged for her and her captain to go on a mission together in the human world in order to stop a group of high level hollows. When they arrived, the hollows were no where to be found. Earlier, Jenova hacked the system to make it appear as if hollows were in the area. When arriving, the captain suggested that they head back and report the bug. The captain requested that Jenova get into contact with the soul society, when she did though, she began to scream and yell as if the captain was attempting to attack her. The captain stood in confusion and the connection ended. This caused alarmed at the soul society Jenova knew that she had a few moments before others would arrive to investigate the misleading message about the captain attacking her, the captain became uneasy and began asking why she would do this. Jenova simply replied by saying, "Some pawns have to fall for the queen to be victorious." Just as she said so, a spelled launched at the captain who was not going to fight back. Jenova would quickly stage a battle by taking her captains blade and piercing her right shoulder with it. When the team arrived, the dead captain laid at her feet with his blade in Jenova's shoulder.
When an investigation started, Jenova explained that the captain must have faked the hollow sighting in order to try and kill her. The soul society agree'd and the case was closed. This left a promotion open for the manipulative, Jenova.

Captain of the 4th Division, Enter Jenova Nero: After the death of the previous captain, Jenova was crowned the captain for the 4th division. She had earned a lot of respect in the soul society for stopping a traitor among them and for becoming a captain of the fourth division. She is currently captain of the fourth division and is still planning her hate towards the humans and what use she can make out of them.
