Reika's Strength, And Archer's Weakness(Private)

It had been a nice Saturday, who would have thought Rei would get caught up in something like this?
The young fullbringer had gone out with friends earlier today to go get some ice cream and sing at karaoke but... things didn't go as planned. While the three girls walked to the karaoke box eating their ice cream, wouldn't it be their luck that one of the girls bump into a thug on the street and their ice cream lands on the thugs head.

"Hey girly! You got your stupid ice cream all over my head, what'cha gonna do to make it up to me huh??" The thug said, attempting to intimidate the girl. Before The thug could say another word, Reika stepped in between the two, giving the big guy a look that could kill a person, if looks could kill that is. If there was one thing Rei could not stand, it was people like this guy. "Look bub, it was an accident so back off will ya?" Reika stood her ground against this guy, however... he raised his arm against Rei and swung his hand in her direction. What this guy didn't expect was for this girl to actually catch his hand. "Wha-?! Why you cocky little bitch!" The man raised his other to try again but Reika skillfully slipped down and swept her leg underneath his foot, causing the thug to loose balance and fall back on his butt, ultimately hitting his head on the hard concrete, nearly knocking him out. Before the thug could even try to get to his feet, Reika was one step ahead of him, next thing the thug knew, Rei's fist was only inches away from his face, ready to punch his lights out with her looking even more frightening than before. "Now, get the hell out of here" With that, the thug scurried away with his tail between his legs. Reika let out a sigh of relief and tuned back to her two friends who were now gone. "Hey! Where did those two go?! Jeez! Some friends they are! Whatever hmph!" Reika puffed out her cheek slightly annoyed by her so called "friends" running and leaving her behind. The silver haired girl decided she might as well go get another ice cream and eat away her anger. When she turned the corner in the direction of the ice cream shop, BAM! She smacked right into someone and fell backwards.

This Saturday was still the same day that Archer could finally get away from the girl he saved earlier, but he did not get to do much training, Archer thought of making a trip up to the Mountain when he heard a bit of a scuffle and then two girls went running past him, 'not another one' was all the thought as he picked up pace, then suddenly WHAM someone had ran into him, one could say he was partly at fault as well, but his reaction was fast and even he himself did not clearly understand why he did it, but as he caught himself by taking a step back with one leg, his right arm darted out to catch the arm of the person falling backwards, helping to pull them up onto their feet.

The Six foot tall, white haired male, with silverish grey eyes stared down at a women who's hair matched his eyes, his skin was somewhere in between fair and tanned, he did not look as strong as he was so one could easily assume it was pure muscle not just the useless mass most often associated with muscles, after he made sure her footing was solid he let her arm go asking her in a voice as soft as cotton, yet as mysterious as the ocean, cool as the breeze that blue his red overcoat that appeared to only cover his arms before wrapping up around his shoulders and down his back, and under it was a black skintight outfit, well it had a little room to allow breathing, but not enough to be considered excess that could be dealt without, on his left arm was a white glove, with for metal prongs sticking out in four directions.

"Are you ok?" were the first words he spoke to her before anything else, quickly followed up by "What was going on a moment ago?" at that moment he looked up to see if he could spot anything but his eyes saw nothing unordinary, the thug was even out of eyesight at the moment, his strong jaw line now more defined with his head tilted up like this, his eyes looked stern as they peered out in the distance, till they looked at her where they would soften and even gleam a little, a small smile appearing on his face.

He was a Quincy, although not much is known about him in particular, nor would most human's know what he was, most would call him a monk or a priest, his stance and posture would give the feeling of such a person, his eyes appeared as if they could peer further then most human's eyes, this was his duty though, to protect the Human's Mostly from Hollows and Shinigami, but sometimes he would step in to protect them from one another, this one he had sadly missed, so he would have to take the woman's word what ever it might be, for the truth, until such a time the truth might surface, that was if she was untruthful with her answer, or any answer hence forth

Reika was starting to fall and closed her eyes but instead of falling she was pulled back into a balanced stance by a strong arm. When she looked up, she saw a man who looked to be six feet tall with white spiky hair and silvery grey eyes that matched her hair color. Without even realizing it, a light pink blush grew over her face upon looking into the man's eyes. Though the blush was so light, it was barely visible on her face due to her light skin. She soon snapped out of staring at his face when the man asked hr if she was okay. She was about to answer him when he spoke again, inquiring about what had just went down a little bit ago. Reika cleared her throat and looked up at him with a smile. "Yeah I'm fine, thanks to you catching me like that. As for what just happened, some wimpy wannabe thug tried to ruff my friends and I up but he ended up running away with his tail between his legs after I put him in his place!" She said grinning after putting a hand to her hip confidently. "Oh yeah! I was about to head to the ice cream shop, as thanks for saving my butt, I'll treat you! What do you say um.... Sorry, I never got your name. Mine's Reika, but everyone just calls me Rei."

Archer had missed the blush on her face as he had looked up at that point, and when she cleared her throat he looked down at her, then he listened to her... He actually listened to her, that was not like him, he usually assessed the situation himself and was gone, but her voice lured him in it seems, and as she talked about her story, Archer could see the flames of victory in her eyes, that passion to protect her friends, was like the same passion he had for protecting human's like her, so it was only one? he gather his thoughts on that situation, he let out a soft sigh as she placed her hand on her hip, so he got up to leave, with barely any damage, as he could not see any blood on the sidewalk, means he will most likely be back with some friends, but he would not worry Rei with his thoughts.

At this point he had heard her name and her question, and he was rather astonished, he did nothing to save her, she did that herself, he just stopped her from falling from his mistake of not watching where he was going, he would then answer her in the same tone as before, the slight smile on his face as he spoke "Name....Well you can call me Archer" he did not like to give out his real name as it was odd and a personal habit of his, must just called him Archer anyways, other then his General's he was Alpha to them, he would continue on and answer her other question " Thank you Rei that would be lovely, it has been some time since I had Ice Cream" in all Honesty he had never had it before, but he would not be looking for this girls Pity no he just rather enjoyed her company, but with a soft sigh the Order of the day was starting to get to him, but he knew that thug would be back shortly, this time with his crew most likely, and if this is anything like a typical story, at the most inconvinent time too.

The man introduced himself as Archer. "Archer huh? Nice name." she said cheerfully. When Archer agreed to have ice cream with her, for some reason, it made her really happy, though she didn't understand why. Without thinking, she took him by the hand and led him to the ice cream shop. Upon arriving at the shop, Rei realized she had been holding Archer's hand this whole time and quickly let go as a much more noticeable blush now spread over her face. "S-sorry about that..." she said looking down at her feet. Before too long, Reika looked back up and faced forward, entering the ice cream shop, without waiting for her new acquaintance to follow, she headed straight for the counter to order. "I'll take a double scoop of mint chocolate chip with rainbow sprinkles please." She said politely. As soon as Archer had caught up, she would ask him what he wanted. "what do you want Archer?"

Archer had not been paying attention, until the next thing he knew was a hand grabbing his and practically Dragging him, this girl was stronger then he anticipated, no wonder she kicked the thugs ass so quickly, he was literally surprised, the look of shock and everything was on his face, but he was able to collect himself quickly enough, so when they arrived at the ice cream shop she would not catch the surprised look on his face, but he would catch the sudden jerk she did away from him and the slight blush, he would go to poke her cheek but she moved inside to quickly, so he would just shrug and followed, Maybe the running had her a bit heated.

He walked up in time to hear her order her ice cream and then ask him what he wanted and he gave it some thought, as if he was such a coniseur of ice cream he did not have a single favorite, or it might give away he never had ice cream before and he was to worried about picking a nasty flavor so he turned to her and gave her a smile and nodded to her saying "You pick for me, my pallet of acceptable flavors is to wide range to pick just one at this moment" he hoped she would not pick a flavor he would have to stomach down to make her happy...

Wait a Moment why did he care if she was happy, she is a human and he is a Quincy, she was safe, that was all he worried about really, well that thug is supposed to show up with his friends if Archer predicted the man to be that type correctly, He wanted to make sure that fight was a fair fight... Hope he brings at least ten men in that case.

Archer told Rei to pick for him which caught her a bit off guard. She thought about it for a moment before turning back to face the counter and ordered for him. "One single scoop of chocolate in a waffle cone please. the person behind the counter nodded and then proceeded to scoop the ice cream into cones for them. At the register, Rei payed for their ice cream and then handed Archer his after taking her own. Rei then headed for the terrace outside the shop. She quickly found a table with two chairs and sat down to continue enjoying her frozen treat. She looked up to see Archer catching up to her. "I think it's best to enjoy ice cream outside on a nice day like this, don't you?" she asked him with a smile on her face and a bit of ice cream on her upper lip.

Chocolate... What would that taste like he wondered as he heard her say it, he began imagining how it could possibly taste, during his space out he did not notice Rei pay for the ice cream, or grab her cone until Rei handed him his cone and he accepted with a smile, looking down at the tan cone object with the point down in his right hand, and the brown sphere that nestled inside on the top, the time he took to examine the ice cream Rei stepped outside to find a table, and when Archer turned to head outside he noticed someone watching her.

Someone was watching Rei as she approached a table and sure enough five thugs stepped between her and the store, so when she turned around to let Archer know that she found them a table she would be met by the gang, who would be snickering and sneering, saying some rather crude things to her about the things they were going to do, and the lessons they were going to teach her.

Archer stepped out of the Ice Cream Shop and cleared his throat as he licked the chocolate Ice Cream, this was really good, three of the five thugs turned to face him, and told him to "Piss Off" Now Archer looked at the one who spoke as he was halfway through a lick on the ice cream and said "Would you like a taste? its Chocolate!" and then right then he smashed the ice cream in the guys face, and before his other two friends could react they both caught upper heel palm cuts to the chins, both of them would fall on their backs, another one jumped behind Reika aiming to grab her and use her like a hostage, the last one pulling out a knife and attempting to threaten Reika's life with it, thinking it would be enough to flip the tide on Archer's Assault of people, well it did, and now was Reika's turn to have a little fun

When Rei turned around and asked Archer her question, instead of it being archer, it was three nasty looking thugs. Archer walked out of the shop licking his ice cream. One of the thugs standing by the shop entrance told him to piss off. Archer responsed by asking them if they wanted a taste before shoving the ice cream in the thug's face followed by a heel palm strike to both thugs' chins. Before Rei could do anything, the thugs near her, took action. One grabbed Rei from behind while the other took out a knife to threaten her life with. As soon as the thug brought the knife close enough to her, Rei kicked it out of his hand while that had them distracted, Rei slipped out of the other thug's grip and swept underneath him. As both thugs were about to attack, Rei used her hands to get on her head, pulling off an amazing, 360 spin kick that knocked both thugs away and out like a light. She then jumped to her feet and walked over to Archer. "Those were some impressive moves!" she said patting Archer on the back. Rei then realized that when those thugs attacked, her ice cream had fallen to the ground. "ah! My ice cream! Those lousy thugs! They made me drop my ice cream! Dammit!" Rei puffed out her cheek angrily though it only looked cute.

Archer could only let out a chuckle while at her afterwards, she did oddly cute with her puffed out cheeks and while she looked forward he backed away inside of the ice cream shop and bought two identical ice creams, and hopefully returned before she noticed and offered her the double scoop of mint chocolate chip, the thugs were gone by that point and he smiled softly at her "Here you go, this will be my treat" Archer let a smile out at her while he walked to the table she chose, licking the chocolate ice cream she had suggjested and bought from him earlier, just a replacement, but still had the same meaning to him as the first one, as he waited for her to join him.

While Rei had her cheeks still puffed out, she didn't notice Archer had slipped back inside the ice cream shop and bought to identical ice cream cones. He came back out, holding out the double scoop of mint chocolate chip for her, saying it was his treat while smiling at her. She took the ice cream and followed Archer to the table she had chosen before and sat down with him. She started to lick her ice cream quietly and occasionally would glance at Archer from the side. She couldn't understand why she felt so nice around him. It was a feeling she couldn't describe too well. She just continued to eat the ice cream he had bought her. It was so creamy and sweet, Rei couldn't help but smile happily as she licked it. She then looked up at Archer and smiled. "Hey Archer, thanks for all your help today. But I was wondering, why would a Quincy try to help a human that isn't under attack by a hollow?" she hoped her question wouldn't anger him. She had said it quietly so hopefully no one nearby would hear her.

Archer stopped in mid-lick of a ice cream as she called him a quincy and he let out a sigh , then looked over to her "How do you know of Quincy's?" Archer's voice lost the life it had before, now he sounded Disappointed, and a little something more even, but not how it was before, his eyes lost their gleam as he glared over at her, he had to deal with this earlier today, just how many people gave the secrets of the Quincy so willy nilly like, punishments will be dealt, harshly

Archer let out a sigh when Rei asked him about quincys. His eyes lost their gleam and instead of a smile, he was now glaring at Rei. Maybe it would have been better if she had kept her mouth shut. He asked her how she knew about Quincys. Rei gulped audibly before she looked at Archer in the eyes, her look unwavering and spoke. "My mother used to tell me stories about them when I was little. She told me how my grandpa was one. He was killed by a hollow right before my mom got pregnant with me. Also, I can tell your reishi level is on a higher level than other people. It's even higher than mine. I figured you had to be a Quincy Archer." she took a few more licks of her ice cream before continuing. "Look Archer, I'm not going to go around, telling everyone what you are. Besides, I have special powers too, I call it my fullbring. So you're not alone." she said smiling kindly at him as she put a hand on his shoulder gently. She wanted him to know that she meant no offense and that it was okay.

Archer would look down at his ice cream and he stood up and Looked down at her "I will retrieve you when I am ready to talk, right now I need to think things over, in that conversation we can talk about everything in a more private location, is this agreeable to you?" Archer felt an ache he never felt before...Maybe he just pulled a muscle happneds from time to time so wouldn't put it past that being the possible outcome, he would then walk away as his mind reeled, he needed to head to the mountain to meditate

Rei watched as Archer looked down at his ice cream in silence before he stood up and looked down at her and said he'd retrieve her at a later date to continue their conversation in a more private location. He then attempted to leave her. This made Rei slightly pissed. Just as he was about to walk away, without thinking, Rei grabbed Archer's arm. "Hey! Don't just ditch me like that, it's incredibly rude! Look I'm sorry I asked but I've always spoke my mind no matter what. Anyways, my point is... You don't have to leave, we can just not talk about it." Rei suddenly let go of his arm. Why did she try to stop him? Se didn't understand it. It was clear Archer wanted to have some alone time to think things over but for some reason, it upset her but she didn't know why that was. "Sorry... I shouldn't have grabbed you like that... Here" she picked up a napkin and borrowed a pen from a passing worker and jotted down her cell number on the napkin and handed it to Archer. "You can reach me on my cell when you wanna get in touch with me. Guess I'll be seeing you soon Archer, take care."

Archer would suddenly be stopped and he turned around, his gloved hand clenched, and he would control himself, she was just a human...wasn't she? He didn't even know anymore, or how to treat her right now, he just knew he needed time to think on the situation, then he stood there as his brow furrowed as she spoke like she did, and he would step forward, being inches from her face with his, and he whispered to her "If what you say is true, then you should know better then how your acting right now, if you Knew who I was, You would not even touch me like you have just now, let alone raise your voice, Consider yourself lucky Human" He sneered at her and yanked his arm as she let go, then she applogized, and the way she was acting now he softened, almost back to how he was when they met, and she offered him her number he smirked saying to her "Again if what you said is true, you should know that I do not need this to find you" And with that he walked off waving his hand like he was waving to someone in front of him, but it was ment for her.

Reika slowly backed off as Archer said his last words before walking away. Reika decided it was best she go home and get in some martial arts training in. She finished her ice cream cone and walked home.
